Dear Recipient Wednesday 9th August 2006
Sweltering in the heat at Best Loved's headquarters, the mere image of cool weather and golden leaves is like a shot of ice tea to my parched gullet. It's at times like these that I wish I had my very own watery catacombs to float about in. Now if you live in Edinburgh there is plenty of underground life to get your teeth into. Just take The Mercat Vaults as an example. The BBC was reduced to a quivering wreck by the ghosts à la Blair Witch that live down there and you can have a look for yourself with The Bonham in this issue. If you are looking for country life à la Constable's Haywain or silky spa living à la Bubbles then we have it all here for ya in one cheeky little issue.
Regards,
Jeffrey Epstein

 EDINBURGH
The narrow closes and wynds of Edinburgh's Old Town only scratch the surface of the city’s volcanic past. The Discovery Channel's 'Psychic Investigates' and Living TV's 'Most Haunted' recently drew attention to the haunted spaces lurking in the deep… You can pick the bones of this haunted history throughout August and September with The Mercat Vaults tours of the notorious Blair St Vaults, described by the BBC as probably the most haunted place in Britain. With Halloween approaching Edinburgh is surely the place to CHILL…

 SPA / GOLF HOTELS
People go to spas to relieve stress or feel relaxed. 'Surely not!' You say as you walk gob-smacked into a lamppost. But yes, it is true, there is a study and it has been tested by people with pens in their jacket pockets and clip boards. The International Spa Association go even further when they suggest that the number two reason for visiting a spa is for pampering and self-indulgence. My MRS likes to workout, use the steam sauna or swim. I go for the golf, I go for the martinis... and ok I like a good massage and facial too!
