And the story continues...we are absolutely delighted that Best Loved hotels continue to sweep up awards left and right this autumn.
First of all, the AA Hospitality Awards were announced on 27 September. Boath House, Perthshire and The Imperial Hotel, Llandudno swept up the AA Hotels of the Year for Scotland and Wales, respectively. The Peat Inn, Fife, was named the Scottish Restaurant of the Year, and The Grove in Pembrokeshire was awarded AA Guest Accommodation of the Year for Wales. Elite Hotels, which comprises Ashdown Park, Luton Hoo, Tylney Hall, and The Grand, Eastbourne was crowned the first ever Eco Hotel Group of the Year, further demonstrating many Best Loved hotels'
s commitment to environment sustainability. See more here.
On 30 September, the seventh annual North-West England Tourism Awards were presented in Manchester. Two Best Loved Lake District favourites were among the winners: Number 43 in Arnside won the B&B Award and Overwater Hall near Keswick came home with the Small Hotel Award.
Finally, we're rather impressed by the Best Loved sweep at the Devon Tourism Awards. The Gold Award went to Combe House, and the Silver Awards were shared by Bovey Castle and Soar Mill Cove. Among B&Bs, the Silver Award was given to The Cary Arms in Babbacombe.
Once again, our heartfelt felicitations to all the well-deserved winners.
Best wishes,
Jeffrey Epstein Publisher
