THIS WEEK IN LONDON
Dear %UPDT%
It’s not usual for me to focus on one event that’s taking place in any given month, but that event is so unique that not to mention Live 8 on July 2nd would be like forgetting to mention Christmas in December!  Live 8 is going to be the world’s biggest music event ever and even as I write this final acts are being signed up both in the UK and around the world.
Also taking place in July (in Singapore )  is the announcement of the venue for the 2012 Olympic Games. Right now the smart money is on either Paris or London. So what with these special events and all the other tremendous happenings in the UK, July is certainly going to be a month to remember.
Kind Regards
Jeffrey Epstein

First, let’s dump the hype. You don’t have to be a celebrity to get a booking at The Ivy, nor do you always have to book three months in advance (I gave two days notice for a recent lunchtime midweek booking). So what is it that has ensured that this Covent Garden establishment has continued to earn top marks for the past thirty years, and was recently voted one of the world’s best restaurants?
Nottinghill Carnival Notting Hill Carnival - Europe’s largest street festival of music, dance, drama, food and street trading.
Outdoor Summer Concert Season 2005 - Each performance includes 3 great bands and performers, concluding with a firework show...
The Proms - Celebrated series of orchestral concerts, semi–staged operas, specialist groups from the world of early and contemporary music...
Lambeth Country Show - Country show with many events including arena attractions, music, dance, farm animals, funfair...
